It was great - thank you to everyone. The display/projects were outstanding. The food - was again fantastic. As soon as I can - I’ll get some pictures up on the web-site - and we’ll have the DVD for sale too. There is now a RRSFW facebook page, and we need fans. Again the number of fans gives us some clout within the woodworking community so that whee we ask someone like OneWay or Powermatic for a donation, they are more inclined to listen to us. Benchcrafted Donation

A company called Benchcrafted recently donated a truly awesome Wagon-Vise assembly. We will put this vise on one the of the school benches in the next bench class. We are also going to bring the vise to the woodworking show. Thank you Benchcrafted for your very generous donation. More about their company is available on their web-site.

Blackstone Design

Mark Wedekind from Blackstone Design recently sent me an email to let me know he will be in town in a couple weeks (19-28th of Oct).
• Mark will be give a workshop from 11am to 5pm on Wednesday the 21st. This workshop will start with an introduction by Mark to his techniques, with examples of some of the applications. At 1pm we will try to serve lunch, and afterwards the students get to work hands on with a variety of shaping tools to emulate some of his techniques. This is a free workshop for Red Rocks students - but I would like to ask for a tax deductible donation.
